ASSOCIATE COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Job Description


Essential Duties:

  • Support corporate communications and marketing including strategy development, content development, and presentations.
  • Assist the creation and execution of various strategic communications and multimedia deliverables.
  • Help draft tailored messages for an array of audiences including internal stakeholders, external partners, leadership, and current and future workforce for government and nongovernment clients.
  • Support business development initiatives including conducting research, responding to proposals RFIs and RFPs, and drafting SoWs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts and key stakeholders to support and finalize briefings, white papers, talking points, articles, reports, marketing content, outreach, and other materials.
  • Support innovative ideas to communicate corporate initiatives such as change management, outreach, and workforce development.
  • Assist team discovery sessions and information sharing activities
  • Facilitate interaction between internal stakeholders and external partners in government, academia, and industry to identify opportunities for collaboration and sharing.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active DoD security clearance:
    required

  • Degree required:
    Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

  • A portfolio of completed projects including writing samples.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Teachable, desire to learn and grow
  • Skilled in strategic communications, marketing, research and writing, and delivering communications.
  • Self-starter, ability to operate with limited direction.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, as required.

Technology:
Proficient in Microsoft Office
